Dunelm House is Durham University's Student Union Building. Opened in 1966, it is one of the country's finest examples of concrete modernism. The University would like to demolish it, but in 2017 a crowdfunding campaign was set up to save it, and architects invited to a Design Charette to develop ideas for how the building could be reused. The future of Dunelm House remains unknown.
